Prices up, engine version and versions deleted
Renault is revising the delivery range of the Captur in the Netherlands. The crossover was recently reintroduced to a drivetrain that likes LPG, but now also loses a drivetrain. The Renault Captur is no longer available as a plug-in hybrid in the Netherlands.
At the end of last year, Renault brought its TCe 100 Bi-Fuel engine back to the Captur. So you can now travel relatively cheaply again by pumping your Captur full of LPG. However, more is changing on the Captur front. Almost all other engine versions become more expensive. Almost, indeed. A drivetrain is also disappearing.
The Renault Captur with a 91 hp 1.0 TCe petrol engine will become €1,065 more expensive and will now change hands as an Evolution from €29,990. The Renault Captur with 140 hp mild-hybrid 1.3 TCe will also become €1,065 more expensive. It is now available – in Techno trim – from €33,990. The 158 hp mild-hybrid Captur with automatic transmission now costs €36,990. The Renault Captur is also available with a 143 hp fully hybrid powertrain. Depending on the version chosen, the Renault Captur Hybrid 145 will be €595 or €645 more expensive and is now on the price list from €33,290.
What disappears? The possibility of getting a Renault Captur with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. As of this year, the plug-in hybrid Captur has been canceled. The versions called Equilibre and Iconic can no longer be found on the price list.
Later this year, Renault will carry out a facelift on the Captur. AutoWeek was recently able to show you exclusively what the updated Captur will look like. The plug-in hybrid engine version may return after the arrival of the facelifted Captur.
