New renders show how the iPhone 13 mini can get a narrower notch and different camera design.

iPhone 13 mini renders: these 2 things stand out

Recently the Indian website posted MySmartPrice schematic drawings of the iPhone 13 online. Based on this Svet Apple made renders of the iPhone 13 mini, the smaller version of the entry-level model.

The most eye-catching (possible) change is the camera. According to rumors, the iPhone 13 mini will get two cameras on the back that are placed diagonally, instead of horizontally like on the iPhone 12.

According to Svet Apple, Apple chooses this to give all camera parts enough space. Rumor has it that all iPhone 13 phones will get optical image stabilization. This makes photos and videos look less choppy, but the ‘camera island’ becomes larger.

Furthermore, the renders show a smaller notch. This screen notch is necessary for the Face ID sensors (facial recognition) and has been about the same size for years. A small detail is that Svet Apple has moved the selfie camera from right to left.

Latest compact iPhone?

The iPhone 13 mini renders appear at an interesting time. According to rumors, Apple will stop releasing compact, high-quality iPhones from next year.

From 2022, the company would release phones in two sizes: 6.1 and 6.7 inches. These are the screen sizes of the iPhone 12 / iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max respectively. The iPhone 12 mini is a lot smaller at 5.4 inches.

If this rumor is correct, the iPhone 13 mini will be the last smaller version of a high-end device. We expect the device to get a 5.4-inch screen again. In the video below, we discuss the latest iPhone 13 rumors with you.
