Limousine slightly more expensive than Sportback
The Audi A3 was recently facelifted and we were soon presented with the updated S3. It is now known what the stronger evolution of the Audi S3 will cost.
The Audi A3 received a facelift earlier this year, which included changes to the grille and lighting. For the Audi S3, however, the biggest news was the arrival of a slightly more powerful 2.0 TFSI. From now on, the Audi S3 is not 310 hp but 333 hp. The maximum torque has increased by 20 Nm to 420 Nm. The S3 is therefore neatly on the same rung of the power ladder as the Volkswagen Golf R.
It is now clear what it has done to the price of the Audi S3. The starting price now exceeds €80,000 and amounts to €82,551 for the S3 Sportback. The S3 Limousine is a bit more expensive, €500 to be precise. It costs at least €83,051. Remarkably, the Audi S3 is in both cases less expensive than the Volkswagen Golf R, which starts at €84,990. It must be said that the Golf R is now equipped with the R Performance package as standard and is therefore extra well equipped. The Audi S3 can be assembled and ordered immediately.
