Renewed BMW 8 Series Gran Coupé on display

The BMW 8 Series Gran Coupé was only presented to the world public in mid-2019, but that doesn’t hurt Munich at all. BMW is already testing with a facelift copy, of which our spy photographer has taken a couple of snapshots.

The Gran Coupé was the last body style that BMW added to the 8 Series range. At that time, the 8 series was already available as a Coupé and Cabrio. The three models, which in fact succeeded the 6-series Coupé, Cabrio and Gran Coupé, will be given a facelift in the short term. However, this Life Cycle Impulse (LCI) does not seem to have any major changes in store.

The renewed 8-series Gran Coupé can already be seen in these spy photos. Anyone who does not seem to get warm feelings modified 8-series does not seem to get those pronounced cooling openings. BMW will soon give the 8-series slightly flatter headlights and revised bumpers at both the front and rear. The rear light units will probably have a different light signature. BMW may also mount engines with mild hybrid technology. You can count on the changes to apply to the 8 Series Coupé and 8 Series Cabrio as well.

We expect the facelifted 8-series on the market in the second half of this year.
