Renewed Datsun Redi-Go in the picture

What comes from far is nice, but that may apply to a lesser extent to the simpler Datsun models. The Indian division of the brand has released the first teaser plates of the redesigned Redi-Go.

The Redi-Go is a compact hatchback that serves as the absolute entry-level model of the Indian Datsun range. The 3.43-meter short five-door was introduced in 2016 (photos 3, 4 and 5), which means that the little one is now ready for a facelift. Behind the scenes, hard work has been done in Chennai in India in recent months to adjust the brave Redi-Go both optically and technically. Datsun shows the first images of it today.

The Redi-Go seems to get a modified muzzle, which makes the budget car related to the Renault Kwid a lot more aggressive in the world. The Datsun gets flatter, sharper headlamps and an apparently huge grille, which is joined on both sides by large, L-shaped daytime running lights. In addition, the small hatchback at the rear seems to be dressed with a real roof spoiler.

The Indian consumer can order the Redi-Go with a 54 hp and 72 Nm strong 0.8 under the hood, a three-cylinder that has a 68 hp and 91 Nm strong 1.0 as a more powerful alternative. The starting price is currently converted to a very modest € 3,390.
