Peugeot 508 Facelift

The Peugeot 508 was recently given a major facelift after about five years. Curious about the prices of that renewed Peugeot 508? Then we have good news. Before Peugeot itself publicizes it, AutoWeek can already tell you what the tightened 508 costs in the Netherlands.

The Peugeot 508 returned from the French cutting tables in February with a completely new face. The Peugeot 508 Berline – the liftback – and the 508 SW also received rear lights with a new layout, were endowed with the new Peugeot logos and were introduced to a new plug-in hybrid powertrain. The 508 was previously available as a 225 hp plug-in and as a 360 hp plug-in hybrid with sporty PSE indulgence, but from now on also as a 180 hp plug-in version. For the renewed Peugeot 508 you will have to pay at least €45,050 in the Netherlands.

For just over 45 grand, Peugeot gives you the keys to the Peugeot 508 Berline with 130 hp 1.2 PureTech petrol engine. As with every other engine version of the 508, the power unit is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The listed entry price applies to the Allure version. The Peugeot 508 Berline 1.2 PureTech 130 is also available as a sportier GT and costs a minimum of €47,250 in that outfit. For station wagon 508 SW you will have to pay at least €46,650 for the version with 130 hp petrol heart (Allure). In GT trim, this 508 SW costs at least €49,150.

Triple plug-in hybrid

Although the Peugeot 508 is only available with one conventional petrol engine, Peugeot offers three different plug-in hybrid powertrains in its mid-sized car. The 180 hp Peugeot 508 Berline (Hybrid 180) is available as an Allure (€50,480) and as a GT (€52,680). The 225 hp 508 Berline Hybrid 225 is also available as an Allure (€51,980) and as a GT (€54,180). Above that is the absolute top version: the PSE. This four-wheel drive Peugeot 508 has a system power of 360 hp and has a starting price of €73,580 as a sedan. Just like the Berline, the Peugeot 508 SW is available as a Hybrid 180, Hybrid 225 and as a PSE (Hybrid4 360).
