Review: Nomad Tempo Bands for Apple Watch

Nomad launched a new band for the Apple Watch last week. Although Nomad presents the new tempo band as a specific sport, it also fits perfectly with your everyday activities.

As usual, the Tempo Band from Nomad is again a high -quality product. It is made of premium materials and has a carefully designed design. In recent weeks we have been able to try out the tape in practice.

Nomad Tempo Apple Watch Bandje

The Nomad Tempo Apple Watch Bandje is a lightweight and sporty band, designed for athletes and active users. Comfort and a good connection to the wrist are central according to Nomad. Due to the beveled edges, the strap has a lighter and minimalist appearance.

The strap is made of high-quality FKM rubber that is both water and sweat-resistant, making it suitable for intensive exercise and daily use.

Review: Nomad Tempo Bands for Apple Watch

The minimal and streamlined design ensures that the strap can hardly be felt while wearing. The ventilation openings provide the necessary ventilation on the inside.

The closure is equipped with an aluminum “Pin & Fold” system that offers a slim and sturdy fit without extra thickness. This makes the closure comparable to the standard sports bands of the Apple Watch. Attach the long side of the strap to the bottom of the Apple Watch and the short side at the top. Place the long side on the pin of the short side and fold the remaining part through the opening under the short part.

The curve of the strap follows the lines of the Apple Watch seamlessly and it always stays firmly in place, even while moving.

Three different sizes

The Nomad Tempo strap is available in three different sizes: 41/42mm (Small), 45/46mm (Large) and 49mm (Ultra). This makes the straps suitable for the Apple Watch Ultra 1-2, Series 1-10 and SE.

The ultra version is suitable for a wrist thickness from 158 to 195 mm and for the Small and Large variant that is 155 to 193 mm.

Available in four beautiful colors

The nomad tempo strap for the Apple Watch is available in four colors: black, lumen (green bright tint), dusk (purple -like) and crush (red/orange). These color variants are specially selected to look both sporty and stylish with various Apple Watch models.

The Nomad Tempo Bandje in practice

For this review we had access to the new pace bands for the Apple Watch Ultra in the colors Lumen and Dusk. As we are used to from Nomad, they do not disappoint us again. As soon as you open packaging you can see that you are not dealing with a cheap Chinese strap.

The design of the band is carefully thought out and suitable for every occasion, especially because of the beautiful color options. The “Lumen” variant is a clear and lively vegetable shade that creates a sporty and striking look. The color “Dusk” is a modest purple shade that has a subtle but elegant look.

The straps are made of a comfortable material so you hardly notice that you are wearing it around your wrist. Thanks to the ventilation openings in the strap, this also remains the case during exercise.
