The Xiaomi 12 Pro is the top model of the new 12 series and is a long, slim smartphone (165 x 75 x 8 mm).

The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a 6.73-inch amoled screen with Gorilla Glass Victus and a WQHD+ resolution (3200 x 1440 pixels), a maximum refresh rate of up to 120 fps and 1500nits of brightness. All this gives a particularly clear and sharp display. The very fast Qualcomm SnapDragon 8 Gen 1 octacore processor, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage are excellent specifications. Also good are the battery with 4600 mAh and the supplied 120 watt charger, which charges the phone in about 20 minutes, amazingly fast. Wireless with 50 watts is also possible. Incidentally, the battery is good for 24 hours with standard use.
In addition to Android 12, there is also the own Xiaomi shell, the three years of Android version updates are very nice. The fingerprint scanner integrated into the screen works well, quickly and accurately. The four speakers support Dolby Atmos and give a clear, somewhat flat sound.
The primary main camera (with Sony IMX707 50MP sensor) shows excellent images and night shots, the images from the 32MP selfie camera look good. A downside is the many installed bloatware. Intrusive advertising software is not part of a premium smartphone.
