Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has put his hands with the renowned auction house RM Sotheby’s for a very special offer: the chance to have a KTM RC16 from 2023. A sealed auction is held that offers you the possibility to buy a fully functional and roadworthy MotoGP prototype.

The RC16 in question is no ordinary KTM – this is the machine with which Brad Binder set a new top speed record in the MotoGP in the Sprint that year, which is still not broken to this day. Binder noted a top speed of 366.1 km/h at the end of the 1.1 kilometer long straight. This speed makes the RC16 the fastest officially registered MotoGP machine ever – an impressive evidence of its performance and aerodynamic excellence.

Although this engine is fully operational, it is only offered as a display. Due to the special nature of modern MotoGP engines – including pneumatic valve control and a mandatory uniform ECU – private use is not possible. When picking up, the motorcycle is started in the presence of the buyer. Possible circuit use and service options can be discussed separately with KTM Factory Racing.

Obligations buyer:

-The buyer will be able to make an effort to maintain the state of the object of purchase at the time of the agreed delivery.
-The buyer is not allowed to make changes and/or changes to the purchased object. The buyer is explicitly pointed out that the engine is sealed and may not be removed or dismantled.
-Der’s may, exclusively at the express request of the Buyer, demonstrate the operation of the engine at the time of delivery or before.
-However, buyer explicitly acknowledges that the subject of purchase is exclusively intended for exhibition purposes and is not intended for use on the road, nor is ready for races and/or any other use as a means of transport (additional services can be discussed with KTM).
– Rights with regard to the driving characteristics and the traffic and off-road safety of the object are therefore expressly excluded.
-The buyer grants KTM Racing GmbH a pre -emptive right when resale of the vehicle.
-Transfer of the vehicle at KTM Factory Racing, (KTM Racing GmbH) Munderfing, Austria. Transport and delivery at the buyer’s expense.
