As editor-in-chief of PC-Active, I write every week about a subject that concerns me, interests or what I experience. For example, on Tuesday 25 March I was present at a Samsung event where, among other things, new TVs, monitors, vacuum cleaners, washing machines and refrigerators could be seen. Samsung is putting more and more smart AI into its devices to make it easier to operate and use their devices. For example, with new Samsung smartwatches you can serve your new Samsung TVs via gestures by, for example, putting them harder and softer. Advantage 1: recipe based on what is in your fridge
The new refrigerators keep track of what is in such a fridge and you can read that on a large screen of that fridge. The fridge then indicates what kind of dish (s) you can make and gives you a recipe for this. Handy right!?
Advantage 2: Hey Bixby, Open the Door
Bixby is the smart virtual assistant of Samsung and can mainly be found on Samsung’s smartphones and tablets. But now there are also a number of smart refrigerators equipped with Bixby.
