We don’t have to wait a long time for the new iPhone. But according to analyst Jeff Pu it will take a little longer than in previous years. He says that the iPhone 17 will come later and he will only appear in stores on Thursday 25 September.
That is quite strange, because Apple has always announced the iPhone for years on the second Tuesday of September. Then the sale starts on Friday the week Ean. Below we have put the different keynotes of recent years for you.
- iPhone 13 (2021): September 14;
- iPhone 14 (2022): 7 September;
- iPhone 15 (2023): September 12;
- iPhone 16 (2024): September 9.
However, Jeff Pu is talking about the start of the sale. That would mean that the keynote will be held this year on September 9 and that the iPhone will be in stores on 19 September.
Not very strange …
Yet the date that Jeff Pu gives secretly is not very crazy either. The iPhone 12 and the iPhone 13 both appeared in stores in the Netherlands by the end of September. But that also had a reason, because these iPhones appeared in the 2020s and 2021.
