A 14.6 inch screen, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and a stylus: these are the most striking about the new leak around Samsung Galaxy Tab S8. The tablet consists of three different models, of which we have an image of two.
Galaxy Tab S8 comes in three variants: Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+ and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. It would be the first tablets to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. All of them could be controlled with the S-pen, Samsung’s stylus. Here’s what now seem to be the differences between the tablets:
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8
This tablet is 11 inches and has an LCD screen, making it the most basic device of the three. Make no mistake, the display’s refresh rate is 120 Hertz with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. The tablet runs on Android 12 and has 8GB of RAM, compared to 128GB of storage memory (or 256GB). The device has a micro SD slot and a USB-C port. There are two rear cameras (a 13MP main camera and a 6MP ultra wide angle). The selfie camera on the front is 12MP. It seems that there is a fingerprint scanner on it, namely on the power button. The battery is 8,000 mAh.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+
The S8+ is a major upgrade: it has a 12.7-inch AMOLED screen of 2800 x 1752 pixels. The refresh rate is 120 Hertz and you can expect the same memory and storage options as on the Galaxy Tab S8. Even the exact same cameras. The battery is considerably larger: it is 10,09 mAh. Nevertheless, the tablet is thinner: 5.7 millimeters compared to 6.3 millimeters. In addition, the S8+ has an in-screen fingerprint scanner: at least that’s what is expected, because it doesn’t seem to have room for such a thing elsewhere.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra
The top tablet is S8 Ultra. It has a 14.6 inch (!) AMOLED screen of 2960 x 1848 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hertz. The working memory is 16GB and the storage memory is 512GB. This tablet has an even larger battery: 11,200 mAh, while it is even thinner: only 5.5 millimeters. There are two selfie cameras (12MP each) and they are expected to be used for better facial recognition.
WinFuture has successfully leaked information before, so we have no reason to believe that the information is incorrect yet. On the other hand, it remains information that does not come directly from Samsung, so always be careful.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is expected to be launched in February.
Would you buy this tablet? If so, which variant? Leave it now below this article.
