Rumor: Xiaomi 12T costs 580 euros and Xiaomi 12T Pro costs 770 euros

At first we thought that the upcoming Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro would cost 649 euros and 849 euros, but that seems to be a bit cheaper. If the new rumor is correct, then you pay 580 euros for the regular 12T variant and 770 euros for the Pro variant. These are starting prices.

Xiaomi 12T Pro

The most expensive variant of Xiaomi 12T Pro would cost 800 euros: this device has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. That reports Roland Quand, journalist at WinFuture. The price of 12T of 580 euros is for the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 12T Pro of 770 euros would have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Of course, we hope that these cheaper prices are maintained, which could be a good signal from the Chinese phone brand. It would mean that the devices are cheaper than Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro immediately after release. However, this is not all that simple: the housing would now be made of plastic instead of metal.

There must be a difference

The T-devices would both have the same 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1120 x 2712 pixels. They would also both have a 120Hz refresh rate and support fast charging at 120W. The devices will have a 5,000 mAh battery. Then why choose the Pro later? That will probably be mainly for the cameras and the speed. The Pro gets a better processor (Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1) and a 200-megapixel camera. 12T has a Dimensity 8100 Ultra chip and a 108 megapixel camera.

We’ll probably learn more about it on October 4, when Xiaomi has an event planned. Want to know more about these upcoming devices? See if there are any interesting rumors in the article ‘Xiaomi 12T (Pro) launch continues on October 4th: we already know this’ .
