The upcoming Galaxy S21 FE has been visible on the Samsung website for a while. We were shown an official render, but the webpage in question has since been removed. The phone is rumored to hit the market in January.
Samsung leaks Galaxy S21 FE
Samsung has now leaked its Galaxy S21 FE including images. That’s what the company did on his website in the United Arab Emirates and it involved a support page for the phone. The famous rumor spreader Evan Blass noticed the leak and shared the render and link on Twitter.
Samsung has now taken the page offline again. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, which stands for ‘Fan Edition’, should be a cheaper variant of the Galaxy S21. Samsung wanted to bring the phone to the market months earlier, but the worldwide chip shortage threw a spanner in the works. Now Samsung is rumored to release the smartphone on January 4, 2022, a month before the Galaxy S22 launch, which was also delayed.
Leaked specs
Besides the leaked render that comes directly from Samsung, we do not get any important information from this leak. A lot has already been released over the phone. The S21 FE gets a 6.41 inch AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a Full HD resolution. The housing is IP68 water resistant and the design of the phone resembles the Galaxy S21. Only the camera and the rest of the back are finished in the same color this time.
The phone comes to us with the Exynos 2100 processor, although it appears in most places outside of Europe with the Snapdragon 888. There will be different models of storage and RAM and the battery is a 4500 mAh one that can charge with a power of 25W. Samsung uses three cameras on the back of the S21 FE: a 12 MP main camera, an 8 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and a 12 MP wide-angle sensor. At the front is a 32 MP selfie camera.
