The specifications of the mid-range Galaxy A33 5G have been leaked in rumors. The device appears with the Exynos 1200 processor and with 6 GB of RAM. The device has been leaked on the Google Play Console and we also get to see renders of the device.
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G
Samsung is going to release the next generation of Galaxy A phones in the coming weeks or months. We have already seen a lot of rumors about the Galaxy A53 and A73, but now there is suddenly more news about a cheaper device from the series. MySmartPrice has discovered much of the specifications of the Galaxy A33 5G in the Google Play Console.
First of all, it is striking that the phone comes on the market with the Exynos 1200 processor, because that is the same chipset that is also expected to be used in the more expensive Galaxy A53. The Exynos 1200 is Samsung-made and it has a much higher 2.4 GHz clock speed compared to the 2.0 GHz MediaTek processor in the Galaxy A32. In addition, the phone works with 6 GB of RAM and there is also standard support for 5G.
More powerful charger
If we dive further into the specifications, we again see a 6.4 inch AMOLED panel. In the accompanying renders, we discover that the Galaxy A33 5G has a U-shaped screen notch, just like its predecessor. The resolution is also this time 2400 x 1080 pixels. In the field of cameras we also see very recognizable things. The Galaxy A33 gets a 48MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle sensor, a 5MP macro camera and a 2MP depth camera. In other words: on paper it looks like the same setup as with the 5G variant of the Galaxy A32. The charger also gets an upgrade, because the 15W fast charger is exchanged for a 25W one. The phone still has a 5,000 mAh battery.
We expect Samsung to officially introduce the Galaxy A33 5G in the coming weeks, maybe it will happen already at Samsung MWC event on February 27. What do you think of the phone? Let us know in the comments at the bottom of this article.
