‘Samsung Galaxy A53 gets the Exynos 2100 chipset from the S21’

Samsung’s upcoming mid-range, the Galaxy A53 has been leaked. This time the device gets a larger battery capacity and comes with the powerful Exynos 2100 chipset from the Galaxy S21 series. There is only one disappointing fact and that has to do with fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy A53 leaked

More information is known about a popular new member of the Galaxy A series: the Galaxy A53. The device is certified by the Chinese regulator TENAA, you know that MySmartPrice. As a result, important specifications have been leaked from a reliable source.

According to the information, Samsung uses a slightly smaller 6.46 inch screen with a Full HD resolution, and there is again a small notch in the center of the screen. It is striking that the Galaxy A53 comes standard with 8 GB of RAM, and that in combination with 128 or 256 GB storage. It is also known that the device will get a microSD slot with which users can expand the storage.

Charger in the trash?

We don’t read anything about the chipset on the TENAA, but it was previously leaked that Samsung wants to use the Exynos 2100 processor that got a place in the Samsung Galaxy S21 series last year. Thanks to the certification, more has become known about the battery, and the 4,500 mAh battery from the A52 is replaced by a 4,860 mAh one.

Like last year, the phone can charge at 25W, but a 15W charger does come in the box. So if you want to charge faster – and there is a real chance – the supplied charger can go in the trash. This is actually at odds with Samsung’s policy on chargers for its flagships.

Four cameras

On the back there is room for four camera lenses. The information from the TENAA website does not reveal anything about the camera specifications, but it was previously announced that the main camera will be a 64 MP sensor. There will be a 12 MP wide-angle camera, a 5 MP macro camera and 5 MP depth camera.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 will of course come with Android 12 and the OneUI 4.0 out of the box. It is not known when those boxes will end up in stores. What is your impression of the Galaxy A53? Let us know in the comments at the bottom of this article.
