Samsung is releasing Galaxy AI on more Galaxy devices, accelerating the global accessibility of mobile AI.

Samsung announces that Galaxy AI [1] will be available on more Galaxy devices via the new One UI 6.1 update. The company wants to accelerate the global accessibility of mobile AI. The update will be available from the second quarter of 2024 for the Galaxy S23 series, the S23 FE, the Z Fold5, the Z Flip5 and the Tab S9 series. The update follows the recent launch of the Galaxy S24 series () [2] and combines AI on the device itself with AI in the cloud.

With the update, even more Galaxy users on supported models will be able to take advantage of Galaxy AI communication tools such as Chat Assist [3] and Interpreter. This will make it easier for them to connect with other users anywhere in the world.

Circle to search
Thanks to the expansion of Galaxy AI, the devices become even more functional. The search functions have been improved with Circle to Search with Google [4], which delivers search results with a quick circle gesture, without having to leave the app. Life becomes easier with organizational tools such as Browsing Assist [5]which helps users stay up to date with the news faster by generating comprehensive summaries of news articles.
