Samsung is probably working on a new budget tablet, which should be the successor to the Galaxy Tab A7 (2020). It would be the Galaxy Tab A7 (2022) and the first details of this tablet have now appeared.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 (2022) specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 (2022) will have a 10.4 inch TFT screen with a resolution of 1200 by 2000 pixels, the well-known rumor spreader Snoopy Tech starts his tweet. The screen refresh rate is at the default 60 Hz. An image of the tablet is also shared in the tweet, which you can find above.
We also see a Unisoc T618 processor, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage passing by in the tweet. The storage memory could be expanded with a microSD card up to 1 TB. The tablet may also come on the market in other variants with more memory. The Galaxy Tab A7 would also get a 7040 mAh battery and can take photos with an 8 MP camera on the back and a 5 MP camera on the front.
Android 11
Snoopy Tech also gives details about the software and those details are disappointing. According to the rumor spreader, the Android tablet still works with One UI 3.1.1 and that Samsung shell is based on Android 11, the Android version announced by Google in 2020. That while we expect the official launch of Android 13 next month. So we hope this rumor is not true.
The tablet will most likely also get GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. According to the rumor, the tablet will cost in Europe for € 199 over the counter.
