Samsung would have decided to postpone the launch of the new Tab S9 series. It was first thought that Samsung will announce the new tablets in December this year, or early next year. So this doesn’t seem to be happening now. When can we expect the tablets?
Galaxy Tab S Series
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S series is Samsung’s high-end tablet line. The current models, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 line, were announced in February this year. It was therefore expected that Samsung will repeat this for next year. According to an report however, this doesn’t seem to be happening. According to this report, Samsung is delaying the launch of the Galaxy Tab S9 series. Samsung’s delay is said to be due to the company’s decline in tablet sales and global economic uncertainties.
So Samsung would currently be working on a new strategy and a new development schedule for the new tablets. Perhaps Samsung will announce the Galaxy Tab S9 series, just like the Tab S7 series, in August. The tablets will then likely be launched at the same time as the company’s new foldables.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series
If you are looking for a high-end tablet from Samsung for now, you will end up with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series for the time being.
