With a smartwatch you can better track and measure your health thanks to many tips and functions. With the new Samsung Galaxy Watch FE you can monitor your heart health as well as your sleep patterns, blood pressure and ECG.

Samsung announces the new Galaxy Watch FE [1] which also features hardware and eye-catching health and fitness monitoring [2] of the Galaxy Watch. Featuring a stylish and durable design, the Galaxy Watch FE is aimed at anyone who wants to improve their health using comprehensive insights; Furthermore, runners can follow more than 100 different training sessions. FE stands for Fan Edition and is the affordable version of more expensive devices, but does have many functions of the more expensive version(s) such as the Galaxy Watch6.

Healthier and more motivated every day
The Galaxy Watch FE is equipped with Samsung’s BioActive sensor and users receive personalized and actionable tips 24 hours a day. There are different sleep functions [3]from monitoring sleep patterns to sleep coaching [4]. Users can also monitor their heart health in multiple ways. HR Alert can detect abnormally high or low heart rates and Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification (IHRN) [5] proactively monitors heart rhythms for atrial fibrillation (Afib). Additionally, users can monitor their blood pressure [6] and ECG monitors [7].
Runners can track more than 100 different workouts and their progress from their wrist. Advanced running analysis not only helps them analyze their performance, but can also provide insights and guidance to prevent injuries. With the personalized Heart Rate Zone [8] users can set their own goals based on their fitness.
Galaxy Watch FE also keeps people motivated to achieve their health goals. Body Composition [9] provides comprehensive body and fitness data and users can also provide motivational messages.

Connected to the Galaxy Ecosystem [10]
As with any Galaxy Watch range, the FE can be easily connected to other Samsung Galaxy devices. Of Find My Phone [11] users can quickly and easily find their phone when their watch is disconnected. With the Camera Controller [12] a Samsung smartphone camera can be controlled remotely. This allows users to switch photo/video/portrait modes, change the angle or zoom in from their wrist. The Galaxy Watch FE supports Google Wallet, an all-in-one digital wallet that allows users to shop on their smartwatch and access identification cards such as a driver’s license or student card.

Design for everyone
The Galaxy Watch FE has a size of 40mm and an updated look, based on the striking design of the Galaxy Watch series. It comes in three colors (Black, Pink Gold and Silver) and with new watch straps [13] with a striking blue and orange stitching. There are also several new watch faces that allow users to personalize their watch and the one-click strap makes it easy to change watch straps. The Galaxy Watch FE features Sapphire Crystal glass for extra protection against scratches.

The Galaxy Watch FE will be available from this summer and has a recommended retail price of €219.
