Now that summer has officially started, Samsung introduces a mobile Bluetooth speaker with the Samsung Sound Tower. The 160W Sound Tower MX-ST40B and the 240W Sound Tower MX-ST50B both have a built-in battery, read more specifications here.
The often so-called party boxes are a success at many (outdoor) parties. Brands such as JBL and Sony have been releasing these large Bluetooth speakers for years and now Samsung is also introducing them.
Samsung Sound Tower
The Samsung Sound Tower is available in two different versions: the 160W Sound Tower MX-ST40B and the 240W Sound Tower MX-ST50B, both with built-in battery. If you really want to go all out, you can sync up to 10 Samsung Sound Towers in Group Play. The Sound Tower MX-ST40B and the Sound Tower MX-ST50B have various festive light effects, such as Party, Ambient, Dance, Thunder Bolt or Star. Using the dedicated app on your phone[1] you can easily adjust the effects or adjust the light to the rhythm of the music. Through the same app you can also adjust the EQ settings and select different Sound Modes, such as Party, Hip Hop or EDM.
Is there no electricity nearby? The MX-ST40B and MX-ST50B have a built-in battery that lasts up to 18 hours, so you can enjoy the music and light effects for a long time.
Connect easily
Connecting to the Sound Tower from your mobile device is very easy. With Bluetooth Multi Connection you can connect two devices at the same time to play music. You can also easily connect the Sound Tower to a TV or projector, so that exciting film on a large screen in the garden becomes just that little bit more compelling. The Sound Tower amplifies the low frequencies and the Bass Booster gives you the extra power you need to feel the bass.
The Sound Towers also have an integrated USB port, with which you can easily connect an external device and come with a handy remote control. All Sound Towers are IPX5 certified[2] making them jet-proof and you don’t have to worry about water drops and splashes.
Price and availability
The 160W Sound Tower MX-ST40B has a suggested retail price of € 399, and that of the 240W Sound Tower MX-ST50B is as yet unknown.
