Seven-seat Ford Kuga relieves S-Max and Galaxy

With the new Kuga, Ford has a sales hit. For those who find the SUV a size too small, Ford has good news. According to new rumors, they are working on a longer version with a third row of seats.

In Europe, Ford currently reigns supreme with the Kuga PHEV in plug-in hybrid sales lists. The Kuga, or Ford Escape elsewhere in the world, is currently available in one size. The 4.61 meter long SUV offers space for only five passengers. According to FordAuthority Ford will change that within a few months, because according to the blog it would work on a more spacious Kuga. Behind closed doors at Ford, it would now be known as ‘CX430’. This version would be on the same C2 base, but would have a longer wheelbase. The new version has a different roofline, but a few things are also happening inside the SUV, because there is talk of the arrival of a third row of seats.

With such an SUV, Ford is targeting cars such as the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace and Seat Tarraco. In Europe, this ‘Kuga XL’ would take over from veterans such as the S-Max and Galaxy. Although these have already disappeared from the showroom in our country, Ford still offers them elsewhere on our continent.
