340 hp for RS
The Skoda Enyaq has been re-examined and has been given more power and more driving range. The improvements apply to the Skoda Enyaq iV 80 and the RS, i.e. with the 77 kWh battery pack.
Earlier this month, Volkswagen introduced the updated ID4 and ID5 and now it is the turn of the Skoda Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé. They benefit from comparable technical innovations. For example, the 204 hp 80 iV versions are leaving the field, because their electric motor is making way for a copy that delivers 285 hp. That is of course very close to the 300 hp Skoda Enyaq RS, but it again takes some distance: it will be 340 hp. Yes, exactly as happened with the ID4 and ID5 with the Pro versions and the GTX respectively.
The power increase naturally gives the Skoda Enyaq faster sprint times. The Enyaq will now sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 instead of 8.8 seconds. More speed improvements? Of course. Charging the 77 kWh battery now goes from 10 to 80 percent in 25 minutes. In addition, from now on the battery pack will drain less quickly, because the maximum driving range of the Skoda Enyaq will increase from 540 km to 565 km. The Skoda Enyaq Coupé goes a little further: 573 km. Not surprisingly, the driving range of the RS, which is only available as a Coupé, is slightly less promising. It can travel up to 547 km with a full battery.
The sun rises for nothing and so with the improvements the prices also go up a bit. The regular versions of the Skoda Enyaq iV 80 will be €1,000 more expensive, the RS will be €1,700 more expensive. You can order immediately.
