Skoda Fabia: new versions and slightly cheaper

Skoda recently released the prices of the updated Scala and Kamiq. The Dutch importer has also silently changed the range of the Fabia, AutoWeek can report by comparing the old and new price list of the Skoda Fabia.

The biggest news: the 110 hp 1.0 TSI will be replaced – just like in the Scala and Kamiq – by a more powerful variant of the same machine. It now reaches 115 hp. The 95 hp powerful variant of the 1.0 TSI will also continue to exist. Other news concerns the performances. Until recently, the Skoda Fabia was available as Active, as Ambition and as Monte Carlo. From now on, the Fabia is available as Essence, Selection, Business Edition and as Monte Carlo. Depending on the version chosen, the Skoda Fabia becomes €200 to €900 cheaper across the board. Almost, indeed. Skoda Fabia in Monte Carlo trim now costs €700 more than before.

Basic Essence version includes 15-inch steel wheels with hubcaps, an 8.25-inch infotainment screen, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, air conditioning and rear parking sensors. The Selection adds USB-C connections, Smartlink, electrically operated rear side windows, a center armrest, a rain sensor, front fog lights, full LED rear lights, a more extensive audio system and Bluetooth connectivity. The Business Edition continues with 15-inch alloy wheels, front parking sensors, a reversing camera, Drive Mode Select, automatic air conditioning, tinted rear side windows, Keyless Entry and chrome window frames. Top version Monte Carlo has 16-inch alloy wheels, sports seats, aluminum pedals, a sports steering wheel, a black grille, rain and light sensors and electrically folding and adjustable exterior mirrors.
