Skoda has unveiled the Octavia Pro. A version of the Octavia that immediately makes it clear for which market it is intended: China.
The current generation of the Skoda Octavia has made the transition to China, but not without first being geared to that market. The result is this Octavia Pro. A variant of the Octavia known to us, but with 6.4 centimeters extra length and a wheelbase that is 4.4 centimeters longer than we are used to here. Even though the people are smaller on average than here; in China they just love a little more legroom. The Octavia Pro still has to admit 11 centimeters in length on the Superb.
The Octavia Pro is not only a bit longer, but is also equipped with a bit more verve as standard. It has various RS features, such as the larger air intakes in the front bumper, the sportier rear bumper and the black mirror caps. The black roof and the ‘Pro’ logos here and there also give it that little bit extra. In the interior, you immediately notice the standard 12-inch infotainment screen, the perforated leather on the dashboard and the orange stitching.
The Octavia Pro will be in the Chinese showroom next to an extensively facelifted version of the previous generation Octavia.
