The day after the market introduction of the new plug-in hybrid Volkswagen Passat, the related Skoda Superb Combi can also be ordered as a plug-in. It travels slightly less far electrically, but is of course slightly less expensive.

Earlier this week, Volkswagen opened the order books for the Volkswagen Passat eHybrid, the plug-in hybrid version that makes quite an impression with a fully electric driving range of 134 km (WLTP). Naturally, it was only a matter of time before the Skoda Superb from the same production line would also be presented as a plug-in and now the moment has indeed arrived. As it turns out, the Skoda Superb Combi travels 133 km as a fully electric plug-in according to the WLTP cycle. Just one kilometer less than the Passat, nothing to be ashamed of. The Superb hatchback plug-in hybrid, to be presented later, may go further.

Skoda immediately announced the prices of the plug-in hybrid Superb Combi that can be charged with a maximum of 50 kW charging power. It starts at €46,990 for the First Edition. For comparison; For the Passat, prices start at €49,990 for the Business version. As a First Edition, the Skoda Superb Combi is immediately well equipped, including LED headlights and taillights, keyless go, three-zone climate control and adaptive cruise control. You can order immediately.
