Adjust slumbering time of alarm clocks

Since iOS 26 you can adjust the slumber duration of an alarm clock to a self -chosen time. By default this is 9 minutes, but you can now change this to a shorter or longer sleeping time, a much needed option of many users.

Open the clock app and go to ‘alarm clock’. Create a new one or edit an existing one. Then switch on the ‘Snoim’ option, tap ‘Snum Duration’ and choose a desired time. Users have the option to change the slumber duration to a time of 1 to 15 minutes.

Search for files in spotlight

Spotlight has been renewed in MacOS 26 And especially the improved file search function stands out as one of the most convenient additions. Thanks to On-Device Intelligence, Spotlight now shows files that match your context, such as recent activities and daily routines. Files and apps are automatically arranged for relevance, giving you faster access to what you often use. Moreover, you can immediately filter the results on file type, which makes it much easier to find specific documents or other files.

You easily open Spotlight with the shortcut test command⌘ + Space bar Or by clicking on the magnifying glass in the menu bar. Move your mouse pointer to the search field and then click on the folder to consult your files. Or use the shortcut after opening spotlight command⌘ + 2.

Apple TV app renewed

Available on Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or newer)

The Apple TV app for, among others, TVOS has received a new look and now includes new posters with a Liquid Glass look. There are also more series and films on the screen, so that you will find something faster to watch. This is mainly because the application now uses film posters and has a deeper integration with Apple TV+.
