Smart presents EQ Fortwo Edition Bluedawn

Smart pulls the curtain on a special variant of the EQ Fortwo: the ‘Edition Bluedawn’. For this they have done quite a few of the shelves of tuner Brabus.

Where the name ‘Brabus’ normally stands for solid technical upgrades next to extravagant body kits, there is no power boost for the 82 hp strong electric city tractor from Smart. The Fortwo does receive various cosmetic upgrades: the front spoiler, side skirts and diffuser all come from Brabus, just like the black 16-inch Monoblock wheels. However, the name of the special edition mainly refers to the matte color, Velvet Blue. The logos, exterior mirrors and grille are -just like the wheels- glossy black.

In the interior, the Edition Bluedawn betrays its exclusivity thanks to special floor mats and a Brabus gear selector for the automatic transmission. Part of the dashboard is also in a carbon look. The Edition Buedawn is of course not free: the entire package costs € 3,000 and is only available on the most expensive trim level of the Fortwo, the Comfort +. This stands for € 27,013 in the price list, which means that the total amount exceeds the limit of 30 grand. Then you have little more to be desired, because things like a panoramic roof, heated seats and Apple Carplay are standard.

From December last year, the Edition Bluedawn can already be ordered, according to Smart, deliveries will start in the second quarter of this year.
