Sonos Era 100 Pro
The Sonos Era 100 Pro is an updated version of the Sonos Era 100 with PoE+, zone setting and will soon be available in black or white. As mentioned, it is the first solution for professional music installations in small offices and rooms and is therefore intended for the Pro: you are not allowed to install it yourself and the Era 100 Pro is only sold per set through selected Sonos partners who specialize in professional installations.

Era 100 Pro Surface Mount and Zones
In addition, the Era 100 Pro Surface Mount is available (sold separately), a flexible mounting stand for different layouts and applications.
With this launch, Sonos also introduces Zones, a new software feature that makes it easier to configure and operate multiple speakers at the same time. This function will be made available simultaneously with the availability of the speaker with the latest update of the Sonos app, for both iOS and Android.

How does the audio performance compare to the Era 100?
Both speakers have the same goals in terms of acoustic architecture and tuning. Possible differences are virtually indistinguishable, except at extreme volume settings and content types. PoE+ offers the best audio performance of Era 100 Pro.
Can I use a standard PoE switch?
PoE+ is backward compatible. This means that you can use Era 100 Pro with a standard PoE switch. For optimal performance, a PoE+ switch is recommended for installation. Which PSE (power sourcing equipment) should I use with Era 100 Pro?
Sonos Era 100 Pro is optimized for PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at), compatible with PoE (IEEE 802.3af), and tested against the standards set forth by the Ethernet Alliance. Your PSE must be compatible with one of these IEEE standards. Can I use Era 100 Pro outdoors?
Era 100 Pro does not have an IP rating. The speaker is designed for indoor use, at temperatures of 0-40°C and a humidity of 0-90%.
