Sonos Sub 4 subwoofer is coming

Earlier today we reported that Sonos announced the new Sonos Arc Ultra, the new premium soundbar that is the first Sonos product to feature the Sound Motion transducer technology. Sonos also reports that the updated Sonos Sub 4 subwoofer will be available for purchase this month, which you can read more about below.

The Sub 4 is the latest subwoofer from Sonos and produces bass that you should be able to feel and change your home cinema experience.
• Distinctive sound: Two specially designed woofers deliver deep, dynamic low frequencies to make your entertainment sound even better. And without vibration or buzz, because Sub 4’s woofers are directed inward for a force-canceling effect that neutralizes distortion.
• Better performance, redesigned inside and out: This most advanced subwoofer features more processing power and memory, and new Wi-Fi radios for better connectivity.
• The same iconic design: the Sub 4 has a recognizable, minimalist shape that largely retains the aesthetic of its predecessor, and now comes with an updated matte finish in black or white. You can place it upright, lay it on its side and/or slide it under the sofa. The Sub 4 is also more sustainable thanks to dematerialization and a reduction of almost 50% power consumption in standby mode.
• Home cinema: you can generate more impact by combining the Sub 4 with Arc Ultra, Arc or Beam for deeper bass. Combine two subwoofers for maximum bass that adds a dose of extra power to every scene and song. Sub 4 also works with previous generations of Sub.
