The new Sony GP-VPT3 and RMT-VP2 are a three-in-one Wireless Shooting Grip And serve as a grip, tripod and removable remote control, which improves usability and ease of use for more freedom in making content.
Sony introduces the wireless recording/triprative GP-VPT3 and the RMT-VP2 remote control with Bluetooth technology, compatible with the Alpha series and vlog camera series. The GP-VPT3 supports stable photography from the hand thanks to a grip design that is optimized for ease of use and flexible absorption corners, and is suitable for cameras with a weight of up to 1.5 kg. The grip can be used as a tripod and the remote control can be disconnected.
With 1 hand
Thanks to the ergonomically designed grip you can record content with one hand, while performing important camera functions such as zooming and focusing, regardless of whether you are right or left-handed. With the heading mechanism you can take the switch between the selfie position and normal, and with the tilting mechanism you can set the corner freely. ​ ​
Remote control
The removable remote control is equipped with a Movie button, a zoom/focus button and a C1 button (which you can do customize), which makes operation with one hand possible. This allows the shutter to be operated remotely, so that the Content Creator can also be on group photos and camera rings in low light can be reduced. The remote control can be connected to Sony cameras and Xperia smartphones with a wireless communication oak of approximately 10 m. The grip and remote control are connected to the device without cables or recipients, so that the camera remains dust and moisture resistant during use.

Price & Availability
The GP-VPT3 will be available from June 2025 for around € 145 and the RMT-VP2 for around € 85 with recognized Sony dealers and in the Sony Store.
