Soon you’ll be able to schedule Instagram posts (but not everyone)

It’s pretty annoying that you can’t schedule posts in Instagram. But thanks to an update, that will soon change!

Scheduling posts in Instagram

It has always been an eyesore for Instagram users. On Facebook you can schedule your social media posts via the Meta Business Suite for quite some time, but with Instagram this option is a big loss. But not for much longer! Because the account @Creators announced that the app will support scheduling posts in Instagram.

This is extremely useful for people with a busy schedule or for anyone who uses the social medium professionally. You can then schedule a week of posts on Instagram after the update and then take a nice vacation! Unfortunately, the feature is not (yet) available to everyone.

Soon you’ll be able to schedule Instagram posts (but not everyone)

Scheduling Instagram posts: this is how you do it

The Instagram Posts Planner allows creators to schedule different Reels and photos to automatically post to Instagram. You can work in advance for a maximum of 75 days. Recently, some users have already been able to get acquainted with this feature. Now Instagram is rolling out the scheduling of messages to more users of the app.

If you are one of the lucky ones, you will go to ‘advanced settings’ when you make a post. There you can check the new function. You can find the function under the heading ‘Schedule this post’. Then you tap on the correct date and time when your message can be thrown into the world.

Under the heading ‘scheduled content’ (in the Instagram menu), you will find all scheduled messages. Whether the feature will ever be available to any user remains to be seen. Instagram hasn’t said anything about a full rollout to every user yet.

More about Instagram

In the same post announcing scheduling posts in Instagram, we also see “Achievements.” This will be a kind of reward system to encourage creators to post even more.

Content creators can unlock these Achievements by performing specific actions. Think of collaborating with another creator or creating interactive posts with polls. This way, even as a beginner, you get to know all the possibilities of Instagram in a fun way. Do you hope you can use these functions?
