BMW has prepared an extremely luxurious special edition of the 7 Series. It is a richly equipped and in a two-tone color scheme executed variant of the mighty BMW M760 Li xDrive no longer available in the Netherlands. Indeed, with mighty V12.
BMW is going to build 25 very opulent copies of the 7-series in China, all based on the BMW M760 Li xDrive, the four-wheel drive 7-series with the biturbo 6.6 V12 cut from the Dutch delivery range at the end of last year. That twelve-cylinder delivers 585 hp and 850 Nm of torque and helps the top sedan to a speed of 100 km / h in 3.8 seconds.
It doesn’t stop with a more powerful V12. The special editions of the M760 Li xDrive come in a two-tone color scheme with the top of the 7-series Cashmere Silver painted and the bottom half in Aventurine Red. The two-tone body is somewhat reminiscent of the way Mercedes-Maybach can deliver the S-class. Brands such as Bentley and Rolls-Royce also delivered top limos in two colors more than once. The spraying process takes six to seven days, according to BMW. The Special 7 Series even gets a hand-applied coachline on its flanks.
The interior of the special 7-series is covered with Merino leather down to the smallest nooks and crannies. It is also packed with almost everything that BMW has to offer. From special loose seats with massage function to extra displays: it is all there, in or on. BMW is asking at least 2,612,000 yuan for the 7-series loaded with frosting, an amount that can be converted to around € 333,000.
