KG Mobility unpacks

SsangYong is no longer the brand it was a few years ago. Not only is it no longer on the verge of a complete financial collapse, it is also no longer called SsangYong. SsangYong Motor Company is officially known as KG Mobility as of today. KG Mobility is going full steam ahead and coming up with four new electric cars.
In 2022, the slowly capsizing SsangYong was rescued by the Korean KG Group. At the beginning of this year, Kwak Jea-sun, chairman of SsangYong, indicated that SsangYong would be renamed KG Mobility. That is officially the case from today. That does not mean that your SsangYong brand name will no longer be encountered. The brand name SsangYong will be used alongside KG Mobility on the brand’s website, among other things.
KG Mobility – which adheres to the motto “Go. Different. KG Mobility’ – directly announces the arrival of four new electric cars. We already know one of them. That is the electric version of the Torres that we recently wrote about. In addition, KG Mobility is working on an electric medium-sized pick-up (O100), an electric large SUV (F100) and a smaller electric SUV (KR10). KG Mobility says it will develop a completely new EV platform itself.
We also expect the electric KG Torres EVX in the Netherlands, so don’t be surprised if the other newcomers also get Dutch asphalt under their wheels.
