During Echo Base Charity Con, the Star Wars event in the Benelux, Return of the Jedi actors Denis Lawson (Wedge Antilles), Mike Quinn (Nien Nunb), Dermot Crowley (Crix Madine) and Caroline Blakiston (Mon Mothma) lead the Star Wars classic Return of the Jedi in.
On Saturday 27 May, the Echo Base Foundation, in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company (Benelux) and Pathé, is organizing a one-off film screening of the Star Wars classic Return of the Jedi (1983) to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the film. This unique performance takes place during the Star Wars convention Echo Base Charity Con, the number one Star Wars event in the Benelux. The film screening will take place in Pathé Amsterdam Noord and will be introduced by Return of the Jedi actors Denis Lawson (Wedge Antilles), Mike Quinn (Nien Nunb), Dermot Crowley (Crix Madine) and Caroline Blakiston (Mon Mothma). Actors at Echo Base Charity Con
The sixth edition of Echo Base Charity Con will also feature American actor Brendan Wayne (grandson of legendary western legend John Wayne), who is currently starring on Disney+ in the third season of the hit Star Wars series The Mandalorian. In this he plays the role of the title character, the Mandalorian Din Djarin, together with Pedro Pascal and stuntman Lateef Crowder. Wayne will be attending an event outside the United States for the first time. Australian actress Bonnie Piesse (Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith and the recent Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Scottish actor Duncan Pow (from the Disney+ series Andor) will also be present to sign autographs, at take pictures with fans and participate in panels.

Star Wars Convention Echo Base Charity Con
In addition to a huge range of merchandise (toys, posters, T-shirts, books, etc.) and an auction with unique Star Wars pieces for Make-A-Wish Netherlands, many Star Wars cosplayers are also present and well-known robots drive like R2-D2 round. During the panels that take place throughout the day, you will learn more about the making of the films and TV series and the people who worked on them.
Young visitors have also been thought of. For example, children can learn to fight with a lightsaber or be painted as their favorite Star Wars figure. It makes Echo Base Charity Con an event for the whole family.
Prices and information
Day tickets cost €22.50 for visitors aged 12 and over and €12.50 for children aged 6 to 11. Children up to and including 5 years of age have free entry when accompanied by a paying adult. The previous two editions raised more than € 20,000 for two charities.
