Mercedes-Benz has put a price tag on the fully electric version of the Vito Tourer. The eVito Tourer called passenger bus can be ordered immediately.
Mercedes-Benz already introduced electric versions of the eVito to the world in 2018, but that socket was recently renewed. Mercedes-Benz now reports that it wants to receive at least € 56,990 for the eVito Tourer, excluding VAT. The Tourer addition naturally means that it concerns the passenger version of the Vito. The more luxurious and refined passenger versions of the Vito are known as V-class. There is also an electric version of this: the EQV.
The eVito Tourer, available in two lengths, has an electric motor with a peak power of 204 hp and 362 Nm driving the front wheels. The electric motor is linked to a 100 kWh battery pack with a net capacity of 90 kWh. According to Mercedes-Benz 360, this means that you have to be able to drive determined kilometers according to the WLTP cycle. The AC on-board charger is integrated into the front bumper on the left. Thanks to the maximum charging capacity of 110 kW, the battery pack of the eVito Tourer on a DC fast charger can be charged from 10 to 80 percent of its capacity in 45 minutes. The top speed of the eVito Tourer is basically 140 km / h, but can optionally be increased to 160 km / h.
The Mercedes-Benz eVito Tourer has a water-cooled AC on-board charger (OBL) with a power of 11 kW. This means that the car is prepared for charging with alternating current (AC) at home or at public charging stations. Charging is done via the CCS charging socket in the left front bumper. This also makes it possible to charge with direct current (DC). Thanks to the maximum charging capacity of 110 kW, the eVito Tourer can be charged from 10 to 80% in approximately 45 minutes at a DC fast charging station. The battery with a usable power of 90 kWh allows a range of 360 kilometers.
