Ritchie, Roscoe and Colin are three young gay men who leave home at the age of 18, in 1981. They travel to London with hope and ambition, unaware that they are facing a plague that the world ignores. Their lives change year after year, as they increasingly have to fight to defend their orientation. Together they endure the pain of rejection and the prejudice that gay men face.

For Sonny Hayes, an accident on the track almost ended his career. Thirty years later, he is a traveling driver who is hired for races and is approached by his former teammate Ruben Cervantes, the owner of an ailing Formula 1 team that is on the verge of bankruptcy. Ruben convinces Sonny to return to Formula 1 for one last chance to save the team and become the best in the world himself. His teammate will be Joshua Pearce, the talented rookie who is determined to become the fastest himself. But once the engines roar, Sonny is haunted by his past and finds that in Formula 1, your teammate is your biggest competition and he can’t get back on his feet on his own.

Veronika Gren, a police officer and mother of two, struggles with a complicated home life and a secret addiction to pills. When she suddenly sees a dead boy (Sam Herrgård) standing in front of her, she thinks everything has gone wrong for her. Reluctantly, Veronika must accept that the boy is not an illusion. Veronika realizes she must find out the truth – and soon discovers that the clues lead her in a direction she never expected.
