Suzuki comes with new model

Suzuki reports to AutoWeek that it will present an all-new model later in November. The brand immediately provides a teaser plate on which the headlight of the newcomer can be seen.

Suzuki will present a completely new model on November 25, of which it already shows the headlight. Suzuki will keep further information under wraps.

We suspect that Suzuki has a successor to the S-Cross behind the scenes. The S-Cross was presented at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and went under the knife five years ago. In that regard, a successor to that model cannot come soon enough. Incidentally, the years also start to count for the Vitara with birth year 2015. It is not inconceivable that Suzuki in Europe with one successor for both the Vitara and the S-Cross, since those two cars are roughly in the same segment. In 2019 Suzuki cut the Celerio and Baleno from the European range. They both had a sister model that they filled a segment with. Suzuki chose to continue to carry the hipper Ignis and the more playful Swift.

The last models that Suzuki introduced to the European market, Suzuki borrowed from the Toyota range. For example, the Swace is actually a Toyota Corolla TS 1.8 Hybrid and the Across is a Toyota RAV4 PHEV. Whether Suzuki can also shop for its latest model in Toyota’s warehouse remains to be seen. In the shape of the headlight and hood, we see in any case no resemblance to the Yaris Cross.
