Leave the automotive enjoyment to the English. A very young start-up is not focusing on electric supercars or on a zero-emission cargo bike, but on pick-up versions of the previous generation Suzuki Jimny,

Meet Yomper, a start-up that’s looking to convert previous-generation Suzuki’s Jimny into pickup trucks. Yomper offers not only an extra practical version with huge side mirrors and a straightforward cargo box that you can also open from the side, but also an ultimate leisure machine that listens to the name Bergan.

Suzuki Jimny

The Yomper Bergan is a model inspired by cars like the Subaru ‘Brat’ and undoubtedly also the Skoda Felicia Fun. As if it were Land Rovers, the company name Yomper is written in capital letters on the hood of the cheerfully finished Jimny’s. In the case of the Bergan, a set of flashy seat covers is part of the English car party. The commercial vehicle version with a steel body is available in two different lengths and has a payload of up to 500 kilos. Yomper also had to extend the wheelbase of the pick-up transformed into Bergan. The trusted 1.3 four-cylinder from Suzuki is not tampered with. According to Yomper, a Bergan doesn’t cost a fortune and a Jimny converted into a pick-up can be had from less than converted around €24,000.
