What is a panoramic photo?
A panoramic photo is a very wide photo. It is normally shot with a wide-angle lens, capturing an expansive view. But nowadays it is also possible to achieve this panorama effect with a digital camera or smartphone. To do this, the photographer actually takes a number of different photos, in which he or she always turns a bit in between. The camera or smartphone automatically stitches those photos together, creating one very wide photo.
This feature is now available on many phones, but may not yet be available on older phones and older software versions.
