Tesla is lowering the prices of the Model 3 and Model Y across the board by thousands of euros. Until recently, the Tesla Model 3 was in the order books from €51,990, but has an immediate starting price of €44,990. That means that its starting price has been reduced by no less than €7,000.
The Tesla Model Y will also become less expensive. The Tesla Model Y previously had a starting price of €49,990 and now costs €46,990. Tesla has therefore snatched €3,000 from the starting price of the Model Y. Striking: the larger amount by which Tesla reduces the starting price of the Model 3 makes that car less expensive than the Tesla Model Y, while the reverse was the case until recently.
The price reduction is extra good news for those who would like to buy or lease a Tesla with a SEPP purchase subsidy. That is possible from now on. The fiscal price of the Tesla Model 3 is below €45,000. Even after the price reduction, the Tesla Model Y just does not qualify for the purchase subsidy.

The Tesla Model Y Long Range has a range of 533 kilometers, hits 100 km/h in 5 seconds and has a top speed of 217 km/h. The Tesla Model Y Performance is of course the fastest of the bunch. This takes you to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and you can accelerate to 250 km/h. The range of the Model Y Performance is 514 km/h.
