Tesla today opened a new Supercharger in the Netherlands. From now on, Tesla owners have an extra option to charge their car along the A27 near Meerkerk. The total number of Tesla Superchargers in our country comes to 31 with this addition.
The V3 Supercharger in Meerkerk is still so new that at the time of writing it is not yet displayed on the Tesla website. At the new location, 16 Teslas can charge simultaneously with a charging speed of up to 250 kW. The charging points are located on Energieweg 116, near the entrance and exit of the A27. In any case, you don’t have to worry about going hungry while your car is charging, because right next to the Supercharger are a La Place and a McDonald’s.
Incidentally, the new charging points are not the only ones along the A27. A little further south near Oosterhout is also a Supercharger. However, it has four charging points less than the new Supercharger in Meerkerk and is also of the V2 type, which means that the maximum charging speed is 150 kW. The new Supercharger in Meerkerk is the 31st that Tesla opens in the Netherlands. The fact that the brand is working hard on the rollout of its own fast charging network is evident from the fact that Tesla opened a Supercharger in Zuidbroek in Groningen last month.
