The week is over and that means a fresh app overview is waiting for you! You should not miss out on these new apps, games and updates. The best iOS apps of week 14 can be found here.

The best iOS apps at a glance

The App Store is working overtime every week to process the endless stream of new apps and updates. However, you hardly notice this, because only a small part is worth installing. If your iPhone or iPad could use some new apps, you’ve come to the right place.

1. ING Banking

ING has finally added notifications for credit and debit to ING Banking. This makes it easier for you to keep track of your balance and payment transactions, without having to open the app. In addition to notifications when money is withdrawn or credited from your account, it is also possible to set an alert when the balance of your account reaches a certain minimum.

You determine the amount for each notification. For example, you can indicate that you will only receive notifications if more than 50 euros are debited, or more than 100 euros are credited. This works the same for a minimum balance. This way you are less likely to have a piece of month left at the end of your money.

2. The Elder Scrolls: Blades

The Elder Scrolls is arguably the most famous RPG series in the world. The game is now available for iOS, but there is still a waiting list for the time being. Once you get over the fact that this isn’t Skyrim for iOS, you’re left with a game that’s surprisingly fun to play in short sessions.

This is largely due to Blades’ brilliant graphics, which remain impressive even after a few hours. The game runs smoothly and has beautiful environments with realistic lighting, and except for the somewhat wooden animations, characters and monsters also look believable.

3. Veronica Inside

With the transition from Voetbal Inside to Veronica Inside, the companion disappeared from the talk show. However, the TV program of Wilfred Genee, Johan Derksen and René van der Gijp now has its football canteen back in the form of the new Veronica Inside app.

Here you will find all the necessary football news, funny fragments, match interviews and summaries of episodes of Veronica Inside. The app is simple and well-organized, with a leading role for the latest news and video.

4. PostNL

PostNL has once again updated its handy app full of improvements. The My Mail feature has been refreshed with a new look and buttons. Furthermore, from now on you swipe through the post that is in the menu. With My Post you always receive a notification in the morning if addressed mail is on its way to you that day.

Very handy is that from now on you can open and scan photos of QR codes from your photo gallery, instead of just scanning QR codes with your camera. Picking up a package is now also easier. Packages you follow now have a QR code. If the employee of a PostNL location scans this, he or she immediately sees all package information. Finally, it is now possible to create a stamp code for all countries in the world.
