Nobody wants to be busy with unnecessary actions. There are several apps and services that will help you save time, leaving you more room for other things.
Save time with apps
Many tasks in life can be a lot simpler to save time. Of course, the App Store has many apps that can help you with this. In this article we list a number of them.
1. IFTTT
The app to simplify actions is IFTTT, which stands for If This Than That. With this app you can create your own recipes to simplify tasks. You can now do the actions that normally require you to tap a number of times at the touch of a button.
For example, you can automatically post photos to Twitter that you upload to Instagram or you will receive the weather forecast every day at a specific time. IFTTT itself already offers a ton of prescription prescriptions.

2. Todoist
There are dozens of to do apps in the App Store, but we recommend Todoist. With a to do app you keep a better eye on what you still have to do in a day. You can tick off the tasks that have been done, so that you do not lose the overview. By using such lists and reminders, you have a clearer picture of what to do and you can work faster and with more focus.

3. Tick
Have you been on a night out with friends or colleagues and have you advanced the bill? Then it is not convenient to send each individual an amount. The Tikkie app, which now has a million Dutch users, makes that a lot easier. You create a payment request and then send the others a link. Via this url they can transfer money directly, without hassle.

For people who are easily distracted and therefore waste time, Tide is a handy app. Tide helps with focusing, so that you work concentrated for 25 minutes and then pause for five minutes. These times can also be adjusted. The app should lead you to organize your days better and more efficiently. Tide also offers soothing sounds against distraction around you.

6. Citymapper
Citymapper is an excellent app if you are traveling in an unfamiliar area. The app is also useful in the Netherlands. With Citymapper you plan your journey from A to B via public transport. This is mainly recommended in large cities, because the app does not yet process public transport data from all places in the world.
In the Netherlands, 9292 is a good alternative. Just like Citymapper, this app also uses various means of transport. So you see your journey completely mapped out.

7. LastPass
LastPass is our favorite password manager. You can keep complicated, secure passwords with it, but it is also a tool to save time. You don’t have to remember and look up all those complicated and mutually different passwords, you keep them in one app. From there you copy passwords directly to the service where you need to use them.

8. Scannable
It may seem like a hassle to scan all the receipts you receive, but if you need them, they are all listed together. Scannable is one of the better scanning apps in the App Store. With this you can easily scan documents and receipts via the iPhone camera. After that, you never have to search for papers again, because they are bundled in the app.
