The new Aston Martin Vantage has not even been unveiled a month before it is already in action. This weekend Bernd Mayländer will take place in the new Vantage as an F1 safety car.

Anyone who watched the opening race of the Formula 1 season last weekend may have already noticed that Mercedes-AMG is the safety car and medical car delivered. However, Aston Martin is back again this year with the brand new Aston Martin and the DBX 707. We have known the first one for less than a month, because it was unveiled on February 12. The Vantage has now been given its special F1 look. Next weekend he will be in Saudi Arabia for the second F1 race weekend of the year.

In terms of appearance, there are no big surprises, because it looks quite similar to its predecessor (which the new Vantage builds on at all). The biggest difference is in the power. With its 665 hp, the new Vantage is a lot stronger than the previous one (535 hp). Max Verstappen will probably be happy with that too; he was once dissatisfied with the Vantage as a safety car because of its speed. Aston Martin emphasizes that there are no significant technical changes compared to the version that everyone can buy. According to the British, this was not necessary to make it fast enough.
