servant (season 4) – January 13
servant is now in its fourth and final season. We follow a Philadelphia couple as they mourn a huge tragedy in their lives. That opens the door for a mysterious force in their own home.
Super League: The War of Football – January 13
Although you don’t immediately think of football with Apple TV +, it now comes with an interesting documentary about the Super League. It had to be the top competition that had to make the Champions League forget. This was set up by the big clubs to make even more money and in the end it fell through. Documentary filmmaker Jeff Zimbalist tells the story.
Truth Be Told (season 3) – January 20
Truth Be Told dives into the world of crime podcasts. Why are we so fascinated by it. This season sees Poppy frustrated by the lack of media coverage of the disappearance of young black girls.
Together with an unorthodox director, she brings it to the attention and they come on the trail of human traffickers. You can see how this ends on Apple TV+.
Shape Island on Apple TV+ – January 20
Apple TV+ also focuses on children. Shape Island is based on the Shape trilogy by writers Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen. The series is set on a charming island and invites viewers to go on an adventure with special characters.
We see their fun as they search for answers, as they learn each other’s differences. They show all forms of friendship. Cute right!
Shrinking – January 27
We expect a lot from this series. He is made by Ted Lassocreator Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein who we better know as Roy Kent from the same series. The lead role is for Jason Segel, who we know as Marshall Eriksen from How I Met Your Mother.
In the series we see a grieving therapist who breaks all the rules. He tells his patients what he thinks of them and does not mince words.
Dear Edward – February 3
Apple TV+ describes Dear Edward is a heartbreaking, life-affirming and uplifting story about survival, resilience, connection and exploring what makes us human.
The series tells the story of 12-year-old boy Edward Adler who is the only survivor of a plane crash. He’s trying to make something of his life. In it we see how unexpected friendships, romances and communities are formed.
Sharper on Apple TV+ – February 17
According to Apple TV+, the film Sharper reveals the secrets of New York. From the penthouses on Fifth Avenue to the dark corners of Queens. Nothing is what it seems.
Hello Tomorrow – February 17
This Apple TV+ series is set in a retro future that focuses on a group of merchants selling vacation homes on the moon. With his faith in a better future, he inspires his colleagues and breathes new life into the lives of desperate customers. But will it all work out?
The Reluctant Traveller – February 24
