These Samsung phones get the December security update

Samsung has started rolling out the December security update for a number of Galaxy phones, including the S20 FE and the S20 series. View the overview of all Samsung phones.

Google rolled out a new security update for its Pixel phones earlier this month. Samsung has also started spreading it to various Galaxy phones. The Galaxy Z Flip 5G was the first phone from Samsung to receive the update at the end of November. So the update includes the December security update, which includes the fixes for issues that Google has added. Samsung has supplemented that update with Galaxy-specific patches that include the Exynos chipset. Another critical security issue that allowed Apps Edge to work even when your phone was locked has been resolved.
