Apple Intelligence
Like every other new device from Apple, the iPad 2025 will have support for Apple Intelligence. It is not yet known which chip the iPad will have, but this will probably be the A18 chip. This is the chip that is also in the iPhone 16. This gives the iPad 2025 a significant speed boost.
This also means that a whole range of new features will come to the iPad. Consider, for example, Image Playground, Genmoji, the improved Siri and more. Apple has confirmed in a press release that Apple Intelligence will come to the European Union in April 2025, hopefully that is also the time when you can buy the iPad 2025.
WiFi and Bluetooth improvements
The iPad 2025 (eleventh generation) will likely receive support for Wi-Fi 6E (and perhaps even Wi-Fi 7). In addition, support for Bluetooth 5.3 also seems to be coming to the new entry-level tablet. The iPad 2022 (€ 359) still has to work with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
In addition, there is a chance that Apple will use their own 5-chip in the cellular version of the iPad. This new chip replaces Qualcomm’s and should also appear in the new iPhone 17 Air.
New Magic Keyboard
Apple is also rumored to be finalizing a new budget version of the Magic Keyboard for the iPad. There is a good chance that this keyboard will also receive support for the iPad 2025.

According to usually reliable Apple expert Mark Gurman, Apple will announce the eleventh generation iPad around the spring of 2025. According to him, the design will remain the same, but it will be a lot faster.
