Orion turns your iPad into an external display
Wouldn’t it be useful sometimes to use your iPad as a second screen for your iPhone, PC or even your Nintendo Switch? Yes right? But by default you can only use the iPad as an extra screen via the Mac.
Don’t worry, because the next app will put an end to that. With Orion you can use the iPad as an external screen for many more devices.
The app is free, but for some options you have to pay 5.99 euros once (but that is not necessary). You will then get features such as 4k upscaling and some filters. More importantly, you do need a USB-C HDMI capture card.
Fortunately, they are quite cheap and easy to find. You already have a suitable capture card to use your iPad as an external display at Bol.com, among others, for about 20 euros.

To use your iPad as an external display, Orion does have some requirements for your iPad. Unfortunately, it is not possible to use every iPad with the app. According to the website, you need an iPad with a USB-C connection. These are currently:
