This costs the plug-in hybrid Kia Ceed’s

For the first time, Kia has expanded the Ceed delivery range with an extended version. Delivery starts in April, the prices have now been announced.

Of the four body types, two versions initially get the plug-in powertrain: the Ceed Sportswagon and the raised XCeed. The Stationwagon plug-in is available from € 34,495, the XCeed its basic price is € 1,000 higher. The DynamicLine is an entry-level version for both versions. In addition to standard navigation, a reversing camera and cruise control, all-round LED lights, 16-inch alloy wheels and partly leather-upholstered seats are supplied as standard. The prices go up to € 38,995 (Stationwagon) and € 39,995 (XCeed) for the ExecutiveLine with, among other things, an automatic tailgate, full leather upholstery and a digital set of instruments.

In all cases, the 1.6-liter four-cylinder petrol engine works together with a 60-horsepower electric motor under the hood. The battery is 8.9 kWh. The system power comes out at 141 hp and 265 Nm of torque. The XCeed comes fully electrically 58 kilometers away, the station runs another two kilometers on one full battery charge. Both cars may tow a braked trailer of a maximum of 1,300 kg. The maximum towing weight is 600 kg without braking.

Kia will start delivering the ceed’s that will be delivered in April.
